As of October 4, 2024, Connect Care's patient portal, MyChart, is now available to all Albertans with an Alberta Health MyHealth Alberta account.
- Prescribers and staff no longer need to complete the previous activation steps for patients, and can instead provide patients with access information for MyHealth Alberta.
- The previous activation workflow has been updated to reflect the new access requirements.
- The self sign-up workflow is no longer required for prescribers and staff to get access to their own MyChart account. Prescribers who would like to access their MyChart account can do so by logging in to their MyHealth Alberta account.
- With this update, MyChart users (and their proxies) can also now view their Connect Care referrals information within MyChart.
- Proxy access workflows have not changed.
We are currently working to update all our existing prescriber resources to reflect this change.
